Jack Auen is an American filmmaker and producer from Baltimore, Maryland. As Co-Founder of the filmmaking collective COSMIC SALON with collaborator Kevin Walker, they work across genres and aesthetics to create vision-driven films whose themes strive to be both timeless and modern.
His short films have screened at prestigious film festivals around the world including the International Film Festival Rotterdam, New Directors / New Films, Sarajevo, Thessaloniki, Drama, Lago Film Festival, London Short Film Festival, Rio di Janiero, The Athens International Film and Video Festival, the Woodstock Film Festival, and many others.
He is currently in post-production for two feature films slated to premiere in 2026, one which he co-wrote/co-directed, and the other written and directed by Alexandre Rockwell (In the Soup, Four Rooms, Sweet Thing).
He is a graduate student at NYU’s Stern and Tisch schools in their dual MBA/MFA program, and currently resides in Brooklyn, New York.
